About The Position
- Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Colon & Rectal Surgery **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Night, 19:00-07:30 **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year in a 600 bed academic hospital **License:** Pending state licenses will not be reviewed **Certifications:** Competency testing required within 48 hours of submission **Must-Have:** Epic experience **Job Description:** - Work in a post-surgical setting for patients who have undergone colorectal and urologic surgery. - Collaborate closely with Wound Ostomy and Continence Nurses for ostomy and wound care needs. - Handle post-operative patients with TPN (total parenteral nutrition), NG (nasogastric) tubes, and central lines. - Must pass a competency test sent via email within 48 hours of submission. - Opportunity requires passing a competency testing score specific to a large academic hospital. **Comments:** - Candidates from specified local counties are not accepted. - Position will not require floating to other units. - Previous employees who have worked satisfactorily may be considered for rehire.
