The Client Support Specialist is responsible for interpreting customer requests, monitoring performance and delivery, investigating complaints, and negotiating pricing and discounts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as the point of contact with the customer on assigned accounts.
- Coordinate customer visits, presentations, and/or audits.
- Provide oversight for assigned customer accounts - evaluate customer performance requirements, delivery schedules, and communicates these to appropriate departments.
- Provide solutions to customer problems that impact cost or schedule.
- Negotiate requirements as predetermined across multiple customers, products, and internal teams.
- Focus on stock allocation issues to maximize customer service levels.
- Re-prioritize delivery schedule to meet customer commitments as necessary.
- Investigate and resolve claims or complaints concerning deliveries, invoices, or billing discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Approve or authorize special price quotations as predetermined and allowances, deductions, and adjustments on a case-by-case basis.
- Analyze and interpret data and make comparative analysis in order to recommend action.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
- College degree in a 2- or 4-years business or related discipline.
- Minimum 1-3 years' experience in customer service or a related field.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Ability to quickly learn new processes and business concepts.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 35 lbs. without assistance and occasionally up to 50 lbs. following company safe lifting protocol.
