TRC is seeking a talented Business Analyst for one of our Wealth Management clients. This position is a remote, 12-month contract with the possibility of extension!
Summary:
Responsible for helping the business transform their vision for our Financial Professionals into working products using Agile methodologies and tools to build roadmaps, create stories, and work with IT on refinement, sprint planning, and delivery. The role involves communicating deliverables and progress clearly to stakeholders, facilitators, and partners. Also supports project/program managers in planning, managing, documenting, and communicating timelines, tasks, issues, decisions, and risks to ensure successful delivery of business objectives.

Responsibilities:
· Responsible for requirement definition and user testing acceptance by partnering with IT
· Facilitates activities and workshops to elicit requirements; Writes BRD/User Stories, Business process flow diagrams
· Responsible for creating and maintaining requirements
· Ensures requirements and process flows are accurately documented
· Escalates gaps or issues to Product Owner and Project Manager
· Partners with Project Manager to define UAT testing activities and timeline; ensures there are test cases to validate all final approved requirements.
· Works with project team to develop test cases aligned with requirements and in partnership with the Product Owner
· Reports out on UAT status. Supports resolution of UAT issues
· Log UAT bugs discovered during UAT testing after review of validating bugs and to prevent duplicate bug entries
· Logs issues discovered during Production releases Reports out on UAT status. Supports resolution of UAT issues in addition to IT; Tracks status and resolution of each bug
· Logs issues discovered during Production releases in addition to IT
· Creates and maintains the test strategy document in partnership with the Product Owner
· Create and maintain UAT Test Strategy and Test Scenarios
· Communicate UAT test metrics daily to project team
· Lead/co-lead UAT testing meetings
Education Requirements:
o Bachelor’s degree preferred, high school diploma (or equivalent) in combination with significant experience will be considered in lieu of degree. Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Basic Requirements:
o 5 years of experience as a member of Waterfall and/or Agile software development team, preferably as a Business Analyst or Product Owner
o Experience in dealing with multiple enterprise-scalable projects and cross-functional teams, and ability to coordinate across teams in a large matrix organization
Preferred Requirements:
· Experience in Financial Services, Broker-Dealer Industry preferred
· Ability to demonstrate how to conduct story mapping and user story writing sessions to create a product backlog
· Ability to explain various ways to create user stories and document acceptance criteria
· Demonstrated skills facilitating remote meetings with participants across multiple locations
· Demonstrates excellent communication skills and has a customer focused mindset
· Ability to evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and break down high-level information into details
· Strong management, communication, technical and remote collaboration skills
