TRC Talent Solutions is Hiring a Dispatcher Near Atlanta, GA

Duties and Responsibilities: (Scope of the role, day to day activities, expected outcomes, highlights any complexities associated with the role)
  • Plans all daily delivery activity for drivers within specific markets.
  • Serves as first point of contact with truck drivers to address their needs.
  • Facilitate fuel delivery to all stores in specific markets.
  • Monitors fuel inventory levels at stores to prevent fuel run-outs.
  • Monitors water level in store tanks and coordinates with internal counterparts to resolve issue.
  • Ensures that drivers have the correct loading information at terminals.
  • Serves as a liaison between stores and the Store Support Center to relay potential problems with fuel deliveries.
  • Ensures fuel supply contracts are fulfilled.
  • Monitors load plans and recommends charge-backs for unapproved carrier actions.
Work Experience/ Education: (Required work experience and education / preferred experience and education that is beneficial to the role. Work experience can include management experience or any functional expertise where proficiency is necessary to be successful in the role)
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferred
  • 0-3 years professional experience, business or logistics preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional acumen dealing with multiple counterparts
  • Experience in GPS tracking software is a plus
