TRC Talent is looking for a Utility Facility Technician for our client in White, GA.SummaryUtility Facility Technician, will be responsible for but not limited to: Monitoring and managing Facility utilities such as UPW treatment system, water supply system, and other critical systems including all pumps, valves, fittings, instrumentation, piping, etc.
Responsibilities
  • Ensuring that all systems (CCR monitoring / PCW / CT / CH / CDA / HVAC / FF / GCS / N2 / AR Rec. / ETC) and equipment are functioning efficiently and performing according to established SOP (Standard Operation Procedure) to support the production process.
  • Play a crucial role in maintaining a productive and safe working environment. Maintain equipment records. Assist in development of SOPs and LOTO procedures.
  • Additionally, maintain thorough records of equipment status and maintenance activities to support the efficient and reliable operation of solar panel manufacturing processes.
  • The role involves regular checks, timely problem resolution.
  • Conduct day-to-day/routine operation and control of utility systems.
  • Central Monitoring System operation, water supply system, and other critical systems including all pumps, valves, fittings, instrumentation, piping, etc.
  • Technicians responding to alarms on site and performing routine tasks to maintain system functionality
  • Gas / Chemical loading & unloading
  • Waste Chemical unloading
  • Water filter replacement, Clean in Place (CIP), and Clean Out Place (COP) activities
  • Conduct proactive inventory planning to ensure an adequate supply of chemicals for water treatment processes.
  • Ensuring cleanliness of equipment and facilities areas
  • Monitor and adjust chemical treatment processes to meet required effluent standards.
  • Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions, alarms, and other emergencies to minimize downtime and ensure the safety of the facility.
  • Assist with Inventory (Spare Part, Chemical, Consumable) Management.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive spare part management system
  • Ensure availability of critical spare parts to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct proactive inventory planning to ensure an adequate supply of chemicals for
Water treatment processes.
  • Anticipate chemical consumption patterns and adjust stock levels accordingly.
  • Ensure cleanliness of machine and machine components by making use of hose, air guns, IPA, cloths, vacuum, and other appliances
  • Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by management
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Technical Degree/Certification or Equivalent Preferred.
  • Working knowledge of the electrical and mechanical maintenance process
  • Critical thinking ability to troubleshoot and detect malfunctioning
  • Discipline to execute tasks without procrastination
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Able to execute all orders and/or demands in a timely manner
  • Ability to handle basic tools
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively and without assistance
  • Strong knowledge of safety precautions
  • Able to tolerate a fast-paced work environment in areas that are not climate-controlled
  • Assertive, able to cope with pressure, a team player
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of cognitive and vocational experience in Electrical, Instrumentation, Controls.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in related technological environment.
  • Proficient in in Electrical/Instrumentation systems and utilities within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record in identifying and solving complex manufacturing issues.
  • Relevant certifications are preferred and will be considered a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations applicable to manufacturing factory
  • Ability to illustrate general maintenance requisite and simple procedures for operation on various pumps including reciprocating, centrifugal, vane, and etc.
  • Experience in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
