TRC Talent Solutions is Hiring an Inventory Specialist Near Atlanta, GA
Shift: 7:00am-4:00pm
Location: Must be comfortable traveling to different sites in: Stockbridge GA, Fayetteville GA, Newnan GA and Columbus GA when needed.
ROLE SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, ROLES, AND FUNCTIONS:
- Inventory Management - 35%
- Performs daily supply assessment and replenishment of supplies for nursing and procedural units.
- Check stock status/back orders of stock
- Contact Consolidated Service Center to request Stat shipment.
- Check expiration dates and rotates stock during daily replenishment.
- Retrieves, cleans, issues, and maintains minor equipment.
- Where perpetual inventory applicable: Processing fill stock program. Inputs all requisitions; processes and reviews all pick tickets. Process supply stock credits and returns.
- Assists with conducting cycle counts.
- Shipping and Receiving - 60%
- Retrieves outbound freight from customers and stages for pickup
- Creates and schedules inter-transportation of goods between Distibution Center sites.
- Maintains transportation log of all outbound freight.
- Receives, handles, and transports pharmaceuticals throughout the facility.
- Customer Service - 5%
- Effectively communicates with customer.
- Friendly and courteous.
- Meets or exceeds customer’s expectations.
- Serves as a liaison between customer and supplier.
- High school graduate or possess a General Educational Development (GED) Diploma from an accredited program.
- Zero to six months experience in supply inventory and replenishment as well as one year experience in customer service field. One year experience in Health Care environment preferred but not required.
- Ability to communicate and understand verbal and written English. Possess technical skills to operate pc and hand-held devices. Possess skills to interact with clinicians and other hospital personnel.
