Job Summary:Verifies, inspects, and keeps records of incoming and outgoing shipments, prepares for shipment including performing final inspection of all products. Build crates and insure everything is secure before shipping.
Job Details:
- Monday-Thursday: 6AM-4:30PM
- $18/hr
- Temporary, 6-8 weeks
- Pull and stage parts for individual shipments
- Clean, package and label finished product for shipment
- Builds wood crates and pallets for shipping finished product safely
- Drives sit-down propane forklift for shipping/receiving of crates and materials
- Loads and offloads crates, pipe, and materials from open and enclosed semi-trailers
- Executes good housekeeping functions
- Other shop duties as needed or required
Education & Experience Preference:High School Diploma, GED, or technical school; one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to:
- Utilize power tools and hand tools safely
- Read a tape measure
- Drive a forklift
- Count accurately for inventory purposes
- Follow directions and work independently
- Carpentry/wood-working skills a plus
