RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor project progress, maintaining high standards of work quality and adherence to project specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, serving as the primary point of contact for on-site communication.
- Schedule and manage daily activities of the construction crew, overseeing the delivery and use of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections, identify and resolve issues promptly, and maintain a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Conduct site meetings, prepare daily reports on project status, and ensure project timelines and milestones are met.
- Monitor project expenditures, assist in managing the project budget, and implement cost-saving measures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily logs, safety records, and inspection reports.
- Enforce all safety policies and procedures, conduct safety meetings and training sessions, and ensure workers are equipped with appropriate safety gear.
- High School diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred.
- 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in commercial construction.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and safety standards.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel to various project sites.
