TRC Talent is looking for a Welder Assistant for our client in Ball Ground, GA.Job Summary:Assists welders engaged in manufacturing piping systems by performing the following duties.

Job Details:
- Friday-Sunday
- 6AM-6PM
- $18/hr (based on experience)
- Reads simple shop drawings or other instructions to determine products specifications or material requirements.
- Utilize hand tools such as tape measure, framing square, and level to assemble pipe assemblies.
- Use drill press, band saw, and air tools as required to prep/finish assemblies during manufacturing process.
- Lifts, positions, and removes workpieces from welding station to assist in fitting and welding.
- Verifies quality of finished work pieces by inspecting them and measuring their dimensions.
- Records operational or production data.
- Transports work in process by hand or by hand cart.
- Follows written and oral instructions to perform tasks accurately.
- Works in a safe manner, keeps work area, machines, tools, and equipment clean and in orderly fashion.
- Performs other routine duties as requested.
