Insurance Specialist

The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive.

central CA, Southern CA, Texas, Michigan, and New Jersey maybe required / as needed

  • Assist Medicare patients with understanding their Chronic Special Needs Plan, Medicare and Medicare Advantage optionsProvide high-level of customer service to ensure patient questions or issues are addressed effectivelyProvide information to patients to help them find and / or secure the insurance coverage of their choice
  • Manage and update tracking tools as appropriateReview trends with team and operational leadershipProvide monthly reporting and analysis on key metrics related to patient education and advocacyCompile monthly operations reviews on assigned patient portfolio
  • Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as neededKnow, understand, and follow teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department or company proceduresParticipate as requested in special projects and Insurance Management Team initiativesMentor team members as appropriate on Insurance Management practicesShadow new hires to mentor and to provide training as needed

Salary / Wage Range

$17.50 - $30.00 / hour

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
