Projects Business Unit Estimator
Title: Estimator
Overview: The estimator ensures bid opportunities are accurately prepared and submitted on time. The role is critical in maintaining healthy profit margins, understanding the customer and supplier markets, and maintaining organized records for smooth transition from bid award to project kick-off.
Reporting Structure: Reports to Business Unit Leader
Key Accountabilities:
16- Division Construction & Hardscapes estimating
Value engineering project opportunities
Managing bid invitations and addendums
Gathering and maintaining material pricing and lead time information
Implementing ProCore Modules
o Bid Management Tool
o Estimating Tool, which include but is not limited to:
Creating Assemblies
Collecting product sku’s
Creating bid templates
Implementing take-off functionality
Integrating with current systems
o Sub-Contractor Pre-Qualification Tool
Weekly Execution:
Bid clarifications
Meet bid deadlines
Track and manage bid award success
Convert awarded estimate to project budget
Attend ProCore Implementation Meetings
Lead & Support ProCore Intergration
Team meetings
