Trelleborg Medical Solutions is seeking an HR/Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team. This position is responsible for full cycle recruitment and onboarding for exempt and nonexempt positions as well as employee engagement, site activites, Human Resources and supports as backup to the Human Resources Generalist. This is a shared role that can be seated in Delano or Litchfield, MN.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation and enforcing adherence to requirements.
  • Conducts recruitment efforts: coordinates approvals, writes and places advertisements, screens resumes, conducts initial interviews, schedules subsequent interviews, administers pre-employment tests, and extends offers. Proactively contacts candidates to keep them engaged, informed and organized.
  • Plans and facilitates onboarding activities for new hires.
  • Maintains relationships with staffing and recruitment agencies.
  • Administers and maintains various activities designed to achieve and sustain a high level of employee morale.
  • Serves as back-up to HRIS administration.
  • Assists with conducting investigations and providing coaching to supervisors regarding the interview and selection process.

Education and Experience

  • Required
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or equivalent
    • 2-5 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
    • Demonstrated understanding of employment law
  • Desired
    • HRIS systems experience (UltiPro preferred)
    • PHR and/or SHRM certification
