Summary Of The RoleAs an Aerospace Application Engineer (AE) at Trelleborg, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to our customers in the aerospace industry. Our aerospace group at Trelleborg provides customers with innovative polymer solutions for applications ranging from airframe & engine to interiors. In this role, you will work with customers to understand their technical needs and provide solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams such as R&D, manufacturing, and sales to ensure customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong background in engineering and a passion for problem-solving. Tasks And Responsibilities
Partner with customers to understand their technical needs and provide solutions with guidance
Support preliminary design reviews for new business opportunities
Support critical design reviews for new product development
Create and maintain engineering documentation (models, drawings, and procedures)
Process engineering change requests internally and externally
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction (e.g., R&D, manufacturing, sales)
Partner with 3rd party suppliers as needed to support product gaps
Education And Experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical discipline
1 year of experience in an engineering role, preferably in a customer-facing role
1 year experience with CAD and engineering software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, or NX)
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
Competencies

Ability to self-manage and successfully work without supervision
Ability to handle and prioritize dynamic workload

Excellent organizational skills
