Job Summary

The Customer Success Manager provides daily contracted services to external clients including technical or non-technical customer support, transaction processing, and sales and marketing services.

The Customer Success Manager leads the delivery of their assigned customer contract(s) and manages client relationships as a strategic partner to meet contractual obligations and provide best in class service delivery operations. The CSM drives contractual performance measures and operational profitability whil ensuring overall function/account governance and adherence.

Core Responsibilities

  • Assists in driving activities related to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), contributing to overall business performance; ensures adherence to predetermined metrics and best practices for delivery of Statement of Work (SOW) per contract requirements
  • Serves as liaison between operations and client middle-management to ensure protocols are followed; assists with conflict resolution
  • Investigates reported issues related to project-level performance, quality assurance, and application reliability; conducts root problem analysis and takes corrective action where appropriate
  • Assists with staffing resolution and volume spikes
  • Drives special projects for corporate, business unit, operational or client initiatives

What you Bring to the Role

Education

  • BA/BS in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field

Knowledge

  • 2 years’ experience in a professional sales role, preferably in software
  • 3 years as an account manager with a dedicated portfolio, with increasing responsibility
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Experience with CRM software

Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to self-motivate and effectively prioritize conflicting priorities
  • Ability to make difficult and/or technical concepts easier to grasp when training individuals of varying experience
  • Skill in communication, both verbal and written; ability to effectively diffuse difficult customer interactions

Work Environment

We are a hybrid-remote workplace combining in-office and remote work to varying degrees based on role requirements and employee location. This position is designated as an in-office role (Boston, MA).
