Business Development Intern
Trellis Marketing, Inc., a full service ad agency, is looking for a Business Development Intern interested in providing support to the Director of Business Development. Activities include (but are not limited to) client research, calls and emails, scheduling, and participation in client meetings as requested. In this role, there will be additional exposure to all divisions of an advertising agency including account management, digital planning, social media strategy and execution, media buying, and the creative process. This individual has the ability to provide valuable support and gain real world experience. We are looking for someone ready to jump in and problem solve critical tasks.
Direct Report: CEO and Director of Business Development.
Intern duties would include the following:
Computer/Work Environment/Communications
Work will mostly be remote with some travel and in-person meetings. Competent or able to quickly acclimate to working in online software programs including MS Office (excel spreadsheets, powerpoint, adobe), basecamp, constant contact, better proposals, GSuite, dropbox, online cloud, etc. Must possess your own equipment, internet, mobile phone.
Time Commitment
Open to either part-time or full-time hours, depending on the candidate. Agency hours are M-Thu 8am-5pm, & Fri 8am-12pm – all remote unless otherwise noted. School credit for 4 weeks. Long term paid position available after trial period and based on performance and culture fit.
