Baskin Robbins in Madison is looking to hire a manager/cake decorator for our store. Please see a few details below.

· Experience in food industry is preferred.

· Employee must be energetic, outgoing, professional, organized, and a leader.

· We would like someone that has potential to learn cake decorating, or has current decorating skills.

· Shift hours are 10:30am-5pm, Mon-Fri.

· Manager would be responsible for staffing, ordering supplies, ordering ice cream, staff training, and maintaining a clean well-kept store.

Duties:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including supervising staff, managing shifts, and ensuring efficient and high-quality service
- Coordinate and participate in food preparation and cooking activities as needed
- Interview, hire, train, and evaluate employees to maintain a skilled and motivated team
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operation
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve any issues that may arise
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies for business growth
- Coordinate catering events and ensure successful execution
- Previous experience in restaurant management or a similar role is preferred
- Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation techniques and presentation
- Excellent supervisory and leadership abilities to effectively manage a team
- Proficient in shift management, including scheduling, delegating tasks, and ensuring smooth operations during peak hours
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers, employees, and vendors
- Familiarity with POS or similar restaurant management software is preferred
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
