Description

 Responsible to perform visual and/or functional inspection and testing on documentation, piece parts, sub-assemblies and/or finished products at various points in the manufacturing process to verify conformity to specifications. Inspection and testing of reworked product may also be required. Responsible to identify, Record and communicate any defects or deviations from specifications. Employee will be expected to assist in meeting company goals and adhering to company policies and programs. 

• Inspect product(s) and documentation to verify it meets the documented specifications. 
• Perform a visual and/or functional inspection of product to be shipped to customers to ensure the product conforms to specifications 
• Assist with first article inspections 
• Assist QA Engineering teams with failure analysis and Corrective actions 
• Proficient in IPQA, Incoming QA and Final QA processes 
• Track and report established QA metrics and goals 
• Assist Engineering to create and document NPI and Prototypes processes 
• Schedule and conduct meetings to review QA data, defects, and escapes 
• Document any defects or deviations from specifications 
• Label products and shelf-life materials as needed 
• Participate in continuous improvement projects relating to supply chain optimization (Kanban, EOQ determination, JIT, PFEP, etc.)

Requirements

 Required

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 5 years Production or QA Inspection?experience
• Knowledge?of Microsoft office suite?and MRP?preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills 
• Strong organizational skills 
• Work in a team environment 
• Six Sigma Yellow Belt
• IPC 610 Cert 

Desired

• 2 year technical school or Electronics technician diploma 
• IPC 610/620 Certification 
• Experience with variety of inspection tools, gages, calipers, microscope, voltmeter etc. 
• Six Sigma Green Belt
