TREW LLC is Hiring a Proposal Manager Near West Chester, OH

The Proposal Manager plays a critical role in the organization's business development process. They are responsible for executing the proposal development process for the organization to produce high-quality, winning proposals that meet customer requirements and align with company goals. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines.
Responsibilities:
  • Execute on the proposal development process from start to finish, ensuring that proposals are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather information and develop proposals that are compliant, compelling, and competitive in the market.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial aspects of project being proposed align with company expectations.
  • Review, edit, and finalize proposal content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency of messaging and branding.
  • Conduct internal reviews to ensure proposals meet customer requirements and align with company goals and requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate proposal risks and issues, and escalate them to management as necessary.
  • Review customer RFPs/RFQs to identify project risks and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure risks are analyzed by appropriate teams and addressed in proposals.
  • Review third-party vendor quotes included as part of proposal offering 
  • Participate in debriefings and lessons learned sessions to continuously improve the proposal process.
  • Develop and maintain a library of proposal content, including past proposals, graphics, and templates.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in proposal development and incorporate them into the proposal process.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret customer requirements, and develop strategies to address them.
  • Proven critical thinking and organization skills 
  • Self motivated with ability to work under pressure and under challenging proposal deadlines that have executive visibility
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Close attention to detail, quality, and accuracy
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Journalism, Communication or related discipline that involves or requires professional writing skills.
  • 1-2 years of experience in proposal management or related field.
Work EnvironmentThis is primarily a desk-based role, requiring extended periods of sitting and computer use. While the role is mainly desk-based, mobility within the office, manufacturing facility and customer sites may be required for meetings and interactions with colleagues.
Physical RequirementsProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Ability to traverse office, manufacturing facility and customer sites
