Trexis Insurance is Hiring a Field Claims Supervisor in Phoenix Area Near Phoenix, AZ

Trexis Insurance has an opening for an experienced Field Claims Supervisor to supervise the outside adjusters and independent appraising staff as well as all related processes associated with these positions within the Phoenix AZ area, supervise workflows of physical damage related issues as well as audit work product, conduct performance reviews/evaluations of unit staff and be involved in interviewing and training new personnel for this territory or state. The candidate must reside in or live within a reasonable distance of Maricopa County AZ.

DUTIES:

  • Responsible for all incoming estimates from Staff Adjusters as well as Independent Adjusters including management of the Average PD Payments metric for your territory as well as the Department to ensure the Loss Ratio remains acceptable.
  • Responsible for the Average Days to Close a PD claim in a timely manner to ensure speedy resolution of our claims for our customers
  • Supervise field claims personnel. Provide Training during our New Adjuster Training Class as well as follow-up training for established adjusters. Conduct audits of all Physical Damage processes in the field as well as internally.
  • Manage the relationship with our PD related vendors and responsibility for our Claims Survey results in your territory. This position requires excellent communication and people handling skills with the ability to deal with peers, subordinates and senior management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 5 years Personal Lines auto adjusting and appraisal estimatics required. A candidate with less than 5 years Personal Lines auto adjusting or appraisal estimatics experience but at least 2 years of previous supervisory experience will be considered.
  • College degree is not required but is strongly recommended.
  • ICAR designation and/or Body Shop management experience is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to deal with all levels of people.
  • Knowledge of Claims Best Practices & litigation guidelines. Must be versed in all states where Trexis conducts business with knowledge of the Tort laws in those states as well as expertise with the DOI regulations and their Fair Claims Practice Act
  • Above average research skills, ability to gather data and present ideas at a level commensurate with the intended audience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Windows 95 or above, AS 400 and internet browsing. Typing 30 WPM.
  • Must have valid Drivers License and be approved by our Insurance Carrier to operate a company vehicle.
