If this resonates with you, apply today and come join our team. #investinyouThe Vice President of Treasury Management will be responsible for leading the development, management, and expansion of our treasury and deposit offerings for institutional customers and acting as a liaison with the Bank’s third-party merchant vendors. This role will oversee the Bank’s treasury and merchant sales initiatives along with managing crucial operations components, requiring strategic vision, product innovation, and effective cross-departmental collaboration to ensure our bank remains a market leader.
This position is in-office at our Corporate Headquarters in Oak Creek, WI.
  • Define and implement the overarching strategy for treasury and deposit products, partnering with our Vice President Product Strategist to ensure alignment with the bank's objectives, risk appetite, and market trends.
  • Provide visionary leadership to guide the team towards achieving strategic goals and successful outcomes.
  • Collaborate with technology, risk management, compliance, and product strategy for seamless product development and support.
  • Spearhead the development of innovative treasury products, leveraging design thinking and lean startup methodologies.
  • Drive new revenue by leveraging existing customer data to increase product penetration.
  • Regularly review and enhance existing products to maintain competitive advantage and meet evolving customer needs.
  • Develop strategies to consistently increase revenue through deposit functions, including service charges, swipe fees, and account review processes.
  • Align deposit production resources to effectively implement strategies aimed at maximizing deposits and meeting or exceeding deposit goals.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging customer requirements.
  • Use market insights to identify opportunities for new product introductions and enhancements to existing products.
  • Lead continuous benchmarking efforts to ensure the bank remains competitive.
  • Work closely with technology teams, bank officers, risk management, compliance, and other departments to ensure seamless product development, implementation, and support.
  • Foster a culture of cross-functional teamwork to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective pricing strategies and customer targeting to drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Lenders, Mortgage Loan Officers, Regional Relationship Managers, and Regional Development Officers on product feedback and reviews on an annual basis.
  • Monitor product performance, analyze key metrics, and take corrective actions as needed to meet revenue and performance goals.
  • Ensure all treasury products comply with regulatory requirements, risk standards, and internal controls.
  • Work with risk and compliance teams to mitigate risks associated with product development, sales, and execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key institutional customers to understand their needs, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for tailored treasury solutions.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for high-value customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of product managers and specialists.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and professional growth opportunities to team members, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Clearly communicate product value propositions internally and externally.
  • Provide training to sales teams and other relevant stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive understanding of treasury products.
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics, KPIs, and success indicators for the Treasury Products division.
  • Regularly report progress, insights, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with Tri City National Bank’s policies and procedures, as well as federal and state regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and ensure the bank's treasury products adhere to all relevant guidelines.
  • 12-15 years of progressive experience in financial services, with 5-6 years specifically in treasury products, product management, strategy, or innovation roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a track record of innovative thinking.
  • Excellent resource allocation skills to effectively implement strategic plans.
  • Ability to present and express ideas clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate open exchange of ideas.
  • Proven leadership skills, capable of motivating and directing a diverse team.
  • In-depth understanding of financial markets, treasury management, and cash management products.
  • Demonstrated success in product development and management, including launching innovative products.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance considerations related to treasury products.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data for decision-making and performance measurement.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
