Tri County Council for Southern Maryland is Hiring a Solar Sales Consultant Near Prince Frederick, MD

Solar Sales Consultant

We are seeking a full-time Energy Sales Representative to grow our Solar Services and generate new leads for our fast-growing, local energy company. The flexibility and compensation model of this position is similar to a realtor. It can fit into a part-time schedule; however, we are looking for a committed and dedicated individual.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Visiting existing and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services, Corrective Maintenance and Service Repair
  • Generating leads in addition to following through on company generated leads
  • Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients
  • Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders
  • Participate in staffing marketing events
  • Other duties, as assigned

Salary: Varies based on experience and performance. $35,000 to $70,000 annually.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2 years professional experience in sales, marketing, or customer relations, preferably in energy or related fields
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven sales track record
  • Knowledge of solar energy systems and their benefits
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office and Google Suite
  • Availability on most weekends and evenings
