The Tri-County Humane Society is in search of a proficient Certified Veterinary Technician to enhance our dedicated and dynamic team. We require a professional who can work autonomously and as part of a team for this full-time role. The role demands the ability and willingness to be cross-trained across various animal care departments, including surgery and assisting with the intake of animals into our facility. TCHS, a nonprofit animal shelter, has been dedicated to the welfare of pets and their owners in Central Minnesota for over forty years. Requirements:

· A Certified Veterinary Technician degree and animal care experience in a clinic or shelter setting including experience with surgery.

· Three plus years of experience in clinic or shelter is preferred, but we are willing to train applicants who have some animal care experience and otherwise meet the qualifications

· A positive, compassionate outlook on your professional work

· Willingness to take direction and to work well with team members

· Ability to work a weekend or two a month
