Tri-County Technical College is Hiring a HVAC Adjunct Near Anderson, SC
Job ResponsibilitiesThe Tri-County Technical College Engineering and Industrial Technology Division invites applicants to the role of HVAC Adjunct. The primary responsibility of the successful candidate are to teach courses by providing systematically planned and delivered instruction in the classroom and through distance learning; to design and develop courses and curriculum; to evaluate student performance; and to advise students. The successful candidate should have an In-depth understanding the of the refrigeration cycle. Knowing how to read wiring diagram, how to work safely with electricity. Basic troubleshooting, and repair of different types of HVAC equipment. Be able to relate HVAC materials to students in the classroom with effective teaching methods that lead to clear understanding of the material.
Job Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited ToTeach assigned courses using systematically planned and delivered instruction for the program.
Review, evaluate and revise on a continuing basis course objectives, instructional materials, and course syllabi. Design new courses as needed. Insure compliance with all accrediting guidelines.
Maintain records of student academic progress and attendance, evaluate level of achievement and assign grades for the program.
Serve as academic support to students and participate in student recruitment and development.
Stay current in teaching field; serve on College committees and participate in recruiting and marketing activities.
Minimum And Additional RequirementsOther duties as required by the Department Head.
Must meet SACS guidelines for the discipline.
