• Documentation of all processes associated with the role
• Respond timely with thoughtful, thorough, and error-free deliverables to both internal and external requests
• Record transactions across multiple sources
• Ensure proper handling and distribution of company funds
• Analyze and prepare general ledger account reconciliations
• Prepare routine and adjusting journal entries
• Perform month-end closing duties
• Assist with the Company’s regulatory filing requirements
• Report issues to upper management
• Act as liaison between Accounting and Operations
• Maintain confidentiality of all company, client, employee, and vendor information

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
• 1-2 years of progressively responsible corporate accounting experience across a variety of functions (years depends on type of accounting experience)
• Proficiency with MS Office
• Intermediate Excel skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA or eligible/pursuing/planning to pursue. The company will support a candidate in pursuing their CPA.
• Public accounting experience
• Audit, Transaction Advisory, Reconciliation Experience
• Experience in the retail, hospitality, and/or C-Store industries
• Experience with PDI or other enterprise-level accounting system
