We are looking for an experienced and energetic Tax Director to lead our tax department. Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all tax projects to ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Tax Managers and staff, promoting continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Stay updated on tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and forward-thinking practices.
  • Manage multiple client engagements, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of clients' businesses and financial needs.
  • Represent clients before tax authorities, offering expert guidance and defense.
  • Monitor progress, budgets, billing, and collections to ensure financial health of engagements.
  • Actively represent the firm in the community, fostering strong client relationships and expanding the client base.

Qualifications:

Education and Licenses:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • CPA License required.
  • Valid Driver’s License.

Experience:

  • At least 10 years of public accounting experience.
  • Proven experience in managing and reviewing tax projects and leading teams.
