Successful and busy General Contracting Company,located in Los Lunas, NM is looking for a Project Coordinator to join our team. This position will work closely with Clients, Project Managers, Superintendents, Architects and other design team members. Our ideal candidate for this position will be well organized, detail oriented, and ready to learn.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist Project Management team in managing a construction project’s process and procedures.
• Prepare and track GC Preliminary Notices, Insurance, Builders Risk and Payment & Performance bonds.
• Coordinate with government agencies to obtain permits.
• Prequalifying subcontractors for compliance with company policies.
• Maintain contracts (Prime & Subcontracts) and project tacking logs.
• Data entry for venders, subcontractors and subcontracts (Sage / Timberline experience a plus)
• Continuous communication with Project Managers and Superintendents.
• Document control management for construction drawings and specifications including printing plan sets and maintaining current set of drawings for subcontractor use.
• Assist with coordination between field and office.
• Obtain project close out documents as required and archive them.
• Maintain construction project files, electronic & physical, throughout life of the project.
• Manage all projects logistics as directed by the Project Managers.
• Communicate with Client’s construction team.
• Ensure Client’s needs are met in a timely, cost effective, customer service-oriented manner.
