CABLE TELEVISION INSTALLATION TECHNICIANS TO COMPLETE INTERNET & PHONE CABLE INSTALLS & TROUBLESHOOTING

  • 1099 Contractor Position
  • (((Must have work Vehicle to properly hold 28ft & 6ft fiberglass ladders))))
  • Must have All US work credentials
  • Must pass drug & background check
  • Must have Work tools
  • Must have 28ft & 6ft fiberglass ladders
  • Must have electrical or cable experience

Position is for BATON ROGUE, LA AND SURROUNDING AREAS

Looking to hire 1099 Contractors for Cox Communications to work in BATON ROUGE, LA and surrounding areas. Experience is required or similar

Pay ranges between $734-$1408 weekly. As a Cable Installer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various types of cabling systems, including Ethernet, telephone, and fiber optic cables. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and the ability to work with various tools and equipment.

Responsibilities:

- Install, troubleshoot, and repair cabling systems in residential and commercial settings

- Perform cable terminations, splicing, and testing

- Install and configure network equipment such as Cisco routers

- Ensure proper cable management and labeling

- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns

- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Cable Installer or related role preferred

- Strong knowledge of cabling systems, including low voltage, Ethernet, telephone, and fiber splicing

- Familiarity with hand tools and equipment used in cable installation

- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical principles

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

- Strong communication and customer service skills

Pay: $734.00 - $1,408.00 per week
