The Role

The Vice President of Fixed Operations – Site Leader at Tricolor Holdings will own the Reconditioning Center operations, driving the growth and daily operations of our team successfully. The individual in this role will be accountable for achieving the desired targets for inventory volume as well as quality, time standards, and profitability.

Vice President of Fixed Operations – Reconditioning Center Site Leader Responsibilities

• Take ownership of high-quality reconditioning standards that minimize comebacks and customer disruptions.
• Oversees the daily workflow of each team in the location.
• Monitory technician productivity
• Reporting of parts and labor spending on a unit or location average basis
• Main point of contact for national part providers for negotiations and vendor management
• Coordinate the reconditioning phase of the overall used vehicle supply chain with the Inventory team and the Sales team.
• Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA's right-to-know.
• Forecast goals and objectives for the location and strive to meet them.
• Establishes, implements, and communicates the strategic direction of the reconditioning site.
• Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on Automotive Reconditioning projects and systems.
• Collaborates with other divisions and departments to carry out the organization’s goals and objectives.
• Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials.
• Establishes, communicates, and implements operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution.
• Reviews and approves cost-control reports, cost estimates, and staffing requirements for the department.
• Establishes and administers the department’s budget.
• Presents periodic performance reports and metrics to the CEO, COO, CFO and other members of the board.
• Identifies training needs and ensures proper training is developed and provided.
• Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains management-level staff in the department.
• Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.

Vice President of Fixed Operations – Reconditioning Center Site Leader Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 8 years of experience in plant manager, or similar manufacturing environment
• No automotive experience required
• 5 years in a leadership/management position
• Success in building teams, driving accountability and developing a culture of positivity and high performance.
• Valid Driver’s license with a clean driving record
