Supervisor – Order Management

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Order Management Team.
  • Ensure that all customer orders are processed, fulfilled, and delivered accurately and on-time.
  • Work closely with other departments (Sales, Supply Chain & Distribution) to resolve issues, address departmental constraints, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise Order Management Team to ensure high performance.
  • Oversee the accurate and timely processing of customer orders, from order to delivery.
  • Address and resolve customer issues related to order processing.
  • Identify inefficiencies in Order Management processes and implement improvements to enhance speed-to-shelf, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Generate and analyze KPI reports including order accuracy, processing times, fill rate, and internal/external customer satisfaction.
  • Report to Management on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure smooth order processing and fulfillment.
  • Provide coaching and assistance to Order Management Team.
  • Oversee the use and accuracy of Order Management tools and systems including Oracle and Incorta.

  • Written Communication – Ability to communicate complex issues directly to customers, key account executives, members of Product Development, and other departments with little supervision;
  • Organizational & Technical Skills – Ability to follow policies and procedures, complete tasks correctly and on-time while supporting the organization’s goals and values;
  • Technical Knowledge – Ability to learn new technical skills and incorporate them to innovate and improve process performance;
  • Leadership & Teamwork – Relishes leading; takes unpopular stands if necessary, encourages direct and tough debate but is not afraid to end it and move on; is looked to for direction in crisis and faces adversity head on; energized by tough challenges, but always takes a team approach, putting the success of the team above their own interests while supporting everyone’s efforts to succeed.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Customer Service experience, related to account management.
  • Competency in the entire MS Office suite (specifically Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Comfortable with an Oracle system.
  • Ability to work very well under time deadlines and pressure.
  • Ability to keep detailed and accurate records; highly organized.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:

  • Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • Leawood, KS (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Leawood, KS: Relocate before starting work (Required)
