DescriptionWe are growing and looking for a Brake Press Operator for our University Park, IL, location.
This position will set up and operate machines listed in this Press Brake / Roll category. Must have the ability to maintain production rates and read manufacturing prints.
RequirementsSummary of Responsibilities:
- Perform all activities in a 100% safe manner and adhere to all Tricon EHS guidelines.
- Interpret manufacturing prints.
- Understand basic math and use of measuring devices.
- Be able to use cranes, rigging, and other associated equipment.
- Understand metal press forming concepts.
- Determine bends or rolls & verify dimensions from drawings/prints.
- Conduct appropriate quality checks of material and equipment.
- Able to perform preventative maintenance on the press machine.
- Determine correct machine settings and tolerances.
- Overtime may be expected.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or GED
- 2 years’ experience in a similar job
- Ability to handle physical workload
