Key Responsibilities:
The employee is frequently required to climb or balance.
The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
The employee moves objects
This is a nonexempt position with an hourly rate of $18.60 to $19.25.Trident Seafoods offers a comprehensive and quality benefits package. Full time employees may be eligible for medical, dental and vision insurance plans, optional HRA/HSA, telemedicine, employee assistance and wellness programs, basic life and AD&D, and 401(k) with a company match, vacation, sick time, 10 paid holidays each year, and paid parental leave. For full-time employees, the initial vacation benefit starts at 10 days per year, adjusted commensurate with relevant experience, and 7 days of sick leave per year (9 in Seattle), accrued bi-weekly. This job does not provide room and boardSummary: The Seafood Processor L48 – 2 processes Seafood products on one or more assigned lines by performing the following duties:
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleans, scrapes, trims, and fillets product.
- Discards and culls inferior or defective items and foreign matter.
- Skillfully fillets for finishing seafood products into predetermined sizes.
- Works with precision knives and tools to meet product specifications.
- Accurately weighs and sorts fish according to product or customer specifications.
- Attentive to minimizing waste and achieving consistent results.
- Labels and packages seafood according to product guidelines.
- Reviews workspace for cleanliness and safety.
- Tasks and assignments must always be performed in a safe manner.
- Performs Seafood Processor L48 functions at a higher level of productivity and quality.
- Engages in tasks that require additional training outside of the normal production line duties.
- Undertakes crucial responsibilities as a key person on production line.
- Acquires knowledge of Trident’s Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions.
- Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety trainings.
- No experience in this particular field is necessary
- Previous food production experience is a plus, but not required.

- regularly up to 10 pounds
- frequently up to 25 pounds
- occasionally up to 50 pounds.
