  • Experience :

    Minimum (2) years of work experience in a medical office setting.

    General Summary of Duties :

    Our goal is to make sure that each and every patient feels like they are our most important patient that day. Always remain friendly and polite whether on the phone, in an exam room, or at your desk face-to-face discussing pre- and post-procedure treatment protocols.

    Work as a team with all TVC staff.

    Essential Responsibilities :

    1. Greet and register patients in a prompt, pleasant, and helpful manner. As needed, assist new patients in completing all necessary forms.

    Verify patient demographics and update outdated information immediately at the time of service.

    2. Obtain and update correct insurance information.

    3. Schedule, confirm, cancel and re-schedule patient appointments as needed in EMR.

    4. Accept and post copays, daily charges, and past-due account balances from patients at the time of service.

    5. Answer all incoming telephone calls and answer patient questions regarding appointments, procedures, physician training, and general Trident Vein Center background data.

    6. Monitor clinic voicemail and email accounts to address any patient needs or concerns in a timely manner.

    7. Develop and maintain trusting relationships with patients.

    8. Maintain patient confidentiality.

    9. Call the patient's insurance company for pre-determination of benefits. Review with patients their expected out-of-pocket costs after insurance payments have been processed.

    10. Initiate, follow up, and process pre-authorization or pre-determination for treatment approval with the patient's insurance.

    Once approval and / or denial is received, communicate to the patient and confirm their appointment date.

    11. Investigate the patient account balance or credit and speak with the practice manager on a plan of action on how to resolve.

    12. Educate patients on pre- & post-op instructions.

    14. Oversees the reception area to monitor patient waiting times and patient scheduling conflicts, reports problems or irregularities, and ensures overall cleanliness of the reception area and restroom to promote patient comfort.

    15. Attend and participate in TVC off-site marketing events.

    • 8-10 hour shift
    • Monday to Friday - 4 day work weeks.
    • No weekends

    Spring Hill, TN 37174 : Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
