Trigg Co School District is Hiring an Instructional Coach Near Cadiz, KY

POSITION SUMMARY:

To assist in the design of and implementation of the instructional service programs; to plan, organize, and implement curriculum and instructional programs and activities to ensure optimal educational opportunities and growth experiences; to plan and organize professional development activities; to assist in the planning, development, and implementation of policies, regulations, and the strategies for achieving District and school goals and objectives.


QUALIFICATIONS
:

Appropriate Kentucky certification

Experience and other qualifications that the superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable.


REPORTS TO:

Director Of Curriculum and Instruction


PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as an advisor to the assistant superintendent and school personnel pertaining to the various aspects of curriculum and instruction, design and delivery systems, and District/Building assessment measures.
  • Provide leadership and expertise in implementing initiatives to achieve the district and schools educational goals and objectives.
  • Assist in planning, organizing, developing, assessing and monitoring of the district and schools’ progress toward the achievement of master educational planning goals and objectives.
  • Plan and organize the school curriculum, and instructional design and development programs, instructional delivery systems, and the strategies and techniques for achieving optimal educational and instructional results.
  • Preparation of a variety of management reports in order to ensure thorough, complete, and effective communication and information systems.
  • Implement instructional service budget planning guidelines and expenditure control strategies.
  • Plan, develop, and conduct public and community relations programs pertaining to instructional program functions and activities.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.


TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

220-day contract with salary determined by the adopted

Certified schedules of Trigg County Board of Education.


EVALUATION
:

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on evaluation of certified personnel.
