Trigo ADR Americas is Hiring an Aerospace CMM Programmer Near Fort Worth, TX

Position Summary:
Under general supervision and reporting to the Director of Quality Operations, the CMM Programmer serves as a vital link between Trigo ADR and our Prime Aerospace customers. Working onsite at our customers' location, you are the liaison with executive management and all functional departments to understand customer requirements and to drive results. Applicants must have solid aerospace, program management and manufacturing experience with well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong relationships.
Essential Functions:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • CMM Programming skills in a variety of programming languages, such as: PCDMIS, CALYPSO, or other programming languages
  • Must have exceptional knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and drawing interpretation.
  • Prepare inspection reports and maintain files of inspection documents.
  • Review inspection records received for compliance.
  • Maintain inspection and measuring equipment.
  • Prepare and coordinate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for nonconforming parts.
  • Will manage all training, management of the lab scheduling of work to be performed and setting priorities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Experienced quality individual in dimensional inspection of aerospace machined components
  • Experience in performing FAI's - AS9102
  • Experience with hand measurement tools
  • Experience with other inspection devices such as: 3D scanners, FARO arms, etc.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
  • Minimum 3 years CMM Programming and Operating experience required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of Geometric and Dimensional Tolerancing
  • Some knowledge of Catia and CAD desired
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check, MVR and drug screen.
  • Aerospace experience required.
  • PCDMIS experience required.
Knowledge Of:
  • Knowledge and understanding programming in PCDMIS.
  • Microsoft Office Products
  • Experienced quality individual in dimensional inspection of aerospace machined components
  • Experience in performing FAI's - AS9102
  • Experience with hand measurement tools
  • Knowledge of CMM Inspection process
  • Knowledge and experience in GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
  • Knowledge and experience with blueprint interpretation
Skills:
  • Fluent English - reading and writing is required.
  • Professionalism, integrity, and exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong independent decision-making skills; excellent analytical skills and professional judgment
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (2010 Excel basic skills required)

Minimum Qualifications
  • Some knowledge of Catia and CAD desired
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Ability to Pass a drug screen.
  • Valid drivers license and auto insurance required.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and performance metrics
  • Must have Aerospace and Manufacturing Experience
  • Vision exam is required prior to hire.
  • Requirements are as follows:
    • The General Vision Acuity Test shall be performed by an Oculist, Optometrist or other professionally recognized person. The following requirements shall apply.
    • Near Vision - Eyes meets Orthorater 8 (95% or Jaeger #2 at 12 inches)
    • Far vision - Eyes meets Orthorater 4 (76%) or Snellen Chart 20/50
    • Color Perception - 6 of 9 Orthorater plates
WORKING CONDITIONS
Productivity : Incumbents must perform work in an efficient, effective, and timely manner with minimal direction.
Mobility: Incumbents are required to participate in assigned physical activities which may include light lifting and sitting for prolonged periods of time.
Vision : Vision sufficient to read printed documents, computer screens, and observe behavior of others.
Environment: Typical office conditions, directly working Quality management team, working with the SMS team, and external customers.
Other Factors: Typical hours worked are Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Incumbents may be required to work occasional extended hours and weekend overtime.
The employee frequently is required to use hands or finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk (approximately 1-2 miles a day); sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee will occasionally drive long distances to and from various suppliers as needed. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
