Job Description
Job Overview:
The HRBP II reports to the Senior, HRBP and facilitates the delivery of workplace strategies that impact culture and drive attainment of key business strategies for the organization and with assigned customer group. The role is responsible for securing and maintaining a productive, diverse and engaged workforce, comprised of the best talent available. The position requires a professional who is proactive, customer focused with operational knowledge and the ability to utilize the skills in identifying resources and formulating actionable recommendations/options for leadership to support ongoing operations. Responsible for consulting and partnering with business leaders and management team on all aspects of HR support including talent acquisition, compensation, performance management, talent management, business strategy, employee engagement, and employee relations.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources; business or other related fields
Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree
HR generalist
Employment law consulting with business leaders
Team member engagement initiatives
Performance management
Analytical and problem solving skills
Computer skills including Power Point, Excel, Access, HRIS and Project Management
6-8 years experience Professional Human Resources
Job Responsibilities:
Partners with functional leaders and their direct reports to proactively identify opportunities to enhance organizational performance and functionality. Partners with Organizational Effectiveness on deployment of developmental needs assessments, senior leadership coaching and collaboration, succession planning, and organization design. Participates in initiatives to improve the overall effectiveness of human resources processes; lead specific improvement initiatives for partner group and the organization.
Partners with client group leaders to develop strategies for improving team member engagement across the business or functional organization.
Understands organization's business strategies and aligns human resource strategy and programs to achieve the business goals. Partner with client group leaders to identify and implement opportunities to better leverage human resources programs. Sustains change management initiatives through partnership with business leaders and HR Shared Services.
Ensures compliance with legislative requirements and adherence with human resources policies and processes. Resolve conflicts and provides coaching and counseling on human resources matters for individuals or groups across the business or functional organization. Partner with managers and team members to resolve issues and concerns. Consult with all levels of management on employee relations, compensation, development, organizational change management issues. Simultaneously navigate acting as a management consultant and team member advocate.
Facilitates compensation process and benefits administration by partnering with Shared Services and implement workforce compensation recommendations.
Analyzes workforce metrics and translate into actionable solutions. Utilize HRIS systems and reports in decision making.
