Trillium Construction is now hiring in Austin, TX!
Our client is a general contractor specializing in ground up construction for markets like: restaurants and bars, entertainment, industrial, and more. They are based in Austin, TX and are now looking to bring on a Project Manager and help grow their team. This is a direct hire opportunity with a salary of up to $150k for a Sr. PM and up to $120k for a PM.
Duties:
-Project Leadership: Oversee all phases of construction projects, including preconstruction planning, estimating, execution, and closeout. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
-Preconstruction & Estimating: Manage preconstruction activities, including budgeting, cost estimation, scheduling, and resource allocation. Collaborate with clients, architects, and subcontractors to define project scope and deliver accurate estimates.
-Self-Performing Capabilities: Utilize our in-house teams for painting, tile, flooring and rough carpentry to enhance project quality and efficiency. Coordinate with these teams to ensure seamless integration and exceptional craftsmanship.
-Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between the company, clients, and stakeholders. Facilitate transparent and effective communication to keep all parties informed and aligned throughout the project lifecycle.
-Team Management: Lead and inspire project teams, including subcontractors and internal staff. Foster a work environment characterized by respect, collaboration, and professional growth.
-Problem-Solving: Proactively address and resolve project challenges. Implement effective solutions to minimize disruptions and maintain project momentum. Demonstrate independent thinking and innovative approaches to strategic problem solving.
-Compliance & Quality: Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and uphold high-quality standards.

Qualifications:
-Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in general contracting, with a focus on preconstruction and estimating.
-Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Skills:
-Strong leadership and team management abilities.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Proven track record of successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
-Advanced knowledge of construction processes, estimating techniques, and project management software.
-Experience working with self-performing trades, particularly in painting, tile, flooring and rough carpentry.
-Job order contracting (JOC) knowledge and experience.
-Independent thinker and self-starter.
-Able to multitask and manage multiple projects at once.
