What We’re Looking ForResponsible for multiple claims processing duties and assisting providers by phone or email with claims processing questions. On a Typical Day, You Might
Provides training to the Provider community on the claims processing system.
Inputs data into the system such as claims as needed.
Analyzes, researches and corrects, if applicable, claims payments and denials.
Generates and analyzes claims payment and exception reports to determine problems. Analyze, research, track and correct if possible the reasons for the denials, etc.
Provides technical assistance to providers in the form of phone calls and/or emails.
Files paperwork (claim forms, payback/adjustments from Providers etc.)

QualificationsEducation: High School or GED Required ExperienceOne (1) year of clerical experience required or equivalent of higher education or higher education/experience. Requires computer related experience. Preferred ExperienceExperience in health care field and /or experience in claim processing or accounting related field preferred. Prefer computer related experience in Microsoft Office Excel application.
