Description
Trilon is looking for an organized professional with a background and understanding of contract terms in the A&E industry to assist the Trilon Risk Team. The role will be to review incoming service contracts for commercially acceptable legal terms for all Trilon firms. The role requires managing processes and procedures relating to the submission, approvals, and execution of service contracts.
Key Responsibilities
  • Review professional service contracts for favorable and industry-appropriate terms to ensure compliance and risk mitigation. 
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders related to contract review or negotiation. 
  • Manage reviews, negotiation, and approvals through the Contract Review System. 
  • Interpret contract provisions for Trilon firm stakeholders. 
  • Determine recommendation to elevate contracts for delegation of authority decisions. 
  • Identify and track contract requirements and non-standard terms to ensure compliance. 
  • Maintain and organize contract files. 
  • Manage the shared inbox and respond as appropriate to internal contract inquiries. 
  • As needed, facilitate contract negotiations with outside parties. 
  • Provide general support and assistance to Contract Review Manager. 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree – preferably business administration, law or a related field. 
  • 2-3 years’ experience in related field 
  • Paralegal Certificate or equivalent (preferred) 
  • Notary public commission (preferred) 
  • Software skills including Microsoft 365 Programs, AdobeC
  • Demonstrates understanding of contract processing, risk management and mitigation, and ability to effectively communicate these ideas.
  • Exhibits strong initiative, ability to manage competing priorities and multiple, simultaneous tasks.
  • Exhibits discretion and confidentiality.
  • Exhibits accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. 
  • Experience in a professional service firm
