Onboarding Coordinator

Department: Corporate/Administrative

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Orlando, FL

Reporting To: Jessica Leard

Description

The Onboarding Coordinator position is responsible for overseeing the new hiring onboarding process, while maintaining accurate employee information with the company’s HRIS system

Your Primary Responsibilities will include

  • Coordinate and monitor pre-employment testing (skills, background check, DMV and Drug Testing)
  • Track and monitor pre-employment testing invoices. 
  • Input new employee information into the firms HRIS system 
  • Review and ensure accuracy and completeness of onboarding documents for new employees (employee data, claim forms, etc.)
  • Report new hires to State New Hire verification system
  • Process new employee thru E-Verify system 
  • Maintain HR Tracking Log
  • Conduct 5-year criminal background re-check
  • Experience with ADP and Vision 
  • Support new hire orientation

What you'll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent experience; and/or National certification from Society of Human Resources Management preferred.
  • 1 years of human resources experience.
  • Good understanding of human resource policies and procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and writing and verbal communications skills.
  • Strong organizational skills. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
  • Position requires a minimum of 40 hours a week with the possibility of overtime.
  • Valid driver’s license with approved/acceptable driving history required.
