Compensation: $100,000 - $130,000 / year
DescriptionTrilon is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Trainer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the AEC industry and possess a deep understanding of finance and accounting, project management lifecycle training design, and experience with Deltek Software. As a Technical Trainer at Trilon, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the project management capabilities of our workforce through the development and delivery of specialized training programs.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Fundamentals Training Design:
  • Design and deliver comprehensive financial fundamentals training for Project Managers, Project Analyst and Accountants, and General Managers within the AEC industry.
  • Design, customize, and deliver training materials to meet the specific needs and challenges of project management stakeholders.
Full Project Management Lifecyle Training:
  • Partner with cross-functional team to conduct critical path analysis.
  • Develop and deliver technical and financial training modules and programs covering the entire project management lifecycle.
Deltek Software Expertise:
  • Leverage your strong understanding of Deltek software to provide in-depth training on its functionalities and features – creating the "Trilon Way" for project management.
  • Stay current on the latest updates and developments in Deltek software to ensure training materials are always up-to-date.
Capability and Capacity Enhancement:
  • Work towards turbocharging Trilon's project management capabilities and capacity through effective training program design.
  • Partner with Subject Matter Experts to conduct thorough needs assessments in collaboration with Finance and Accounting, project management, and business operations teams to identify training gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Engage with business and operational leaders to understand strategic priorities and incorporate them into training programs.
Creative and Sticky Design:
  • Design and deliver world class training modalities to create sticky content consumption (ie eLearning, Case Studies, Instructor-Led, Interactive, On-the-Job, and Video-based trainings)
Skills, Knowledge And Expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred.
  • Proven experience working in the AEC industry, with a focus on project management and financial controls.
  • Strong understanding of Deltek software and hands-on experience with its application.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering training programs, with a focus on financial fundamentals and project management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a very fast-paced environment.
