Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a Salesforce Tech Lead for a contract-to-hire opportunity with one of our financial services clients. The selected candidate will be responsible for the design, development, code, testing, and implementation of applications and solutions in the Salesforce environment. This position will work closely with functional leads, departments, and subject matter experts to developing solutions within Salesforce.

Job Expectations:

Technical Design

Designs solutions to meet stakeholder requirements involving complex integration of new and existing features shared by multiple dev teams

Document complex schema and share architectural structures with others in a digestible way

Consults with Architects and Technical Leads to ensure technical integrity and best practices are incorporated in design solutions

Presents design to Salesforce Architecture Review Board

Patterns and Practice

Stays up to date with the latest and greatest on the Salesforce platform

Knows, follows, and teaches Salesforce programmatic patterns and platform best practices

Facilitates discussions around changing practices to reflect new knowledge or circumstances

Project Execution

Conducts code reviews for teammates

Communicates issues and implications early and effectively

Executes testing on personal and team development efforts in coordination with QA lead

Serves as the technical point of contact for releases

Required Skills:

Bachelor's Degree

Minimum of 7 years technical and business work experience developing applications utilizing Salesforce.com platform Salesforce toolkit and Force.com platform technologies: custom objects, controllers & triggers and workflows, Apex classes, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, SOAP/REST based web services, and legacy Visualforce.

Minimum of 2 years leading Salesforce-based development activities including design

Preferred Qualifications

Experience integrating Sales and Service Cloud with Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Experience with Salesforce applications utilizing API and event-driven technologies (e.g., Kafka or Google Pub/Sub) in a production environment

Experience developing and deploying Apex classes as REST based web services

Previously demonstrated project leadership on small to mid-size projects involving the Salesforce platform.
