What You Will Do
As the Director of Finance, you will support two divisions with a combined annual turnover of $50M. One division focuses on GNSS hardware for OEM markets, while the other delivers software and services to the Automotive, IoT, and Telecom segments. As a primary partner to the General Manager and a key member of both the division's leadership and sector finance teams, you'll report to the Sector Controller. This role involves maintaining multiple P&Ls and influencing all commercial and operating decisions to balance long-term strategic objectives with short-term financial performance.
Success in this role is measured by bookings, ARR, revenue growth, profitability, and execution against Trimble's strategic objectives.

• Partner with the General Managers on defining and executing the strategy and building strong business models.
• Own the creation and ongoing management of the financial model including articulating its outputs in coherent business terms to all levels of the company from the C-Suite down through divisional leadership.
• Implement and optimize FP&A processes, procedures, and infrastructure to enable scale and support growth (organic and inorganic).
• Balance risks and opportunities to meet division and sector goals including influencing "capital allocation" where spend is optimized for recurring growth and is aligned to strategic goals.
• Own the divisional accounting close process and transactions.
• Provide financial counsel on significant business decisions and controls while safeguarding the company's assets through business controls and sound processes.
• Manage, develop and mentor finance and non-finance people with a focus on Trimble culture and leadership characteristics.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

• Bachelor's degree or MBA in Finance, Accounting or Business with solid grounding in US GAAP with at least 5 years of financial management in a mid- to large-sized technology business.
• International/Multinational experience will be helpful. Experience in high-tech
  manufacturing, telecommunications or automotive industries is a significant plus, but not required.
• Functional experience in US GAAP accounting, ASC606 revenue recognition, and public company regulatory compliance is required.
• Ability to utilize systems and tools (e.g., ERP, CRM, BI) to analyze results and drive, decision making and business process improvements.
• Strong understanding of recurring revenue models and SaaS performance metrics is a plus.
• Ability to influence non-finance business leaders including translating commercial, operational and technical business decisions into financial impact and measurable outcomes.
