Job Description
We are seeking qualified Design Engineers for one of our TN locations.
Design Engineer Job Requirements:
- Conduct engineering and manufacturing changes to automate SolidWorks solid models via design configuration software.
- Uses basic programming to configure systems based on engineering documentation.
- Aides in developing design validation models and configurations for product development projects.
- Improves upon department owned templates, calculation sheets, and reference documents.
- Test and debug automation content outputs from the design automation application.
- Implement enhancements to design automation application and supporting interfaces
Design Engineer Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Systems Engineering, or other related field OR 5 years of equivalent SolidWorks/design experience.
- 5 years of design and drafting experience.
- Understanding of bills of material, manufacturing, and product structures.
- Experience with SolidWorks.
- Experience with PLM/PDM software such as: WindChill, SolidWorks PDM, ENOVIA, etc.
- Ability to read and use basic programming logic and syntax.
