**Introduction:**
Seeking a Junior Acquisition Contract Specialist to support pre- and post-award contract activities. This entry-level role is crucial in developing and administering contracts, including issuing solicitations and evaluating offers. Ideal candidates will have foundational knowledge of the acquisition process and the ability to manage contract requirements effectively.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform pre-award and post-award functions throughout the acquisition lifecycle.
- Develop and issue solicitations for both formal and simplified acquisitions, including those with urgent and compelling requirements.
- Receive and evaluate offers, ensuring compliance with contractual terms.
- Assist in administrative functions necessary to draft, review, coordinate, and process contracting requirements.
- Analyze cost and pricing factors of offers submitted to ensure fair and reasonable pricing.
- Prepare proposed awards and manage ongoing contract administration to ensure compliance with terms.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a role related to contract management or procurement.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $67,413.41 - $81,186.04 per year
