We started as a food truck and will be opening our new restaurant and bar in Columbia Heights. We will be the first Trinidadian restaurant in this immediate area, so we have something to prove. Job Overview:

Cooks - We are seeking Caribbean or Latin Cooks to join our team. Or, if you have experience cooking for a Caribbean restaurant, please submit your resume ASAP!

Bartender - We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and crafting delicious beverages for our guests. If you have a passion for mixology, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and thrive on creating memorable experiences for customers, we want to hear from you.

Servers - All with previous experience and understanding of standard POS systems encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to customer preferences and company standards

- Take orders from customers and provide recommendations based on their preferences

- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their needs are met promptly

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all areas, including stocking supplies, receiving inventory, and cleaning glasses, flatware, and utensils.

- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety of our customers

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner

- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating tips

- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and payment handling

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
