Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Reading Specialist/ELA instructor to join our educational team. The Reading Specialist will be responsible for providing specialized reading instruction to students, assessing their literacy skills, and developing tailored strategies to improve reading proficiency.

Duties:
- Conduct assessments to identify students' reading levels and areas for improvement
- Write lesson plans with differentiated instructional methods
- Provide one-on-one or small group reading instruction to students
- Communicate students' progress with parents
- Monitor and track students' progress in reading skills

Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Previous experience in the classroom
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Knowledge of multisensory teaching and lesson planning techniques
- Training in Orton Gillingham is a plus
