Trinity Washington University, a comprehensive university in the nation’s capital, seeks an adjunct faculty member to teach two laboratory sections to support CHEM113: Chemistry for the Health Sciences. Each section is capped at 20 students.
CHEM113 laboratories: Monday 1:30-4:30 PM & Tuesday 1:30-4:30 PM
These are in-person laboratory sessions on Trinity’s campus during Trinity’s fall semester, starting September 26, 2024 and ending December 6, 2024. There are 12 weeks with laboratories. No labs are scheduled for weeks with
Monday holidays (September 2-3 and October 14-15) and the last week of classes (December 2-3).
QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidates should have earned at least a Master’s degree from an accredited institution and be able to demonstrate strong teaching skills. Previous undergraduate classroom experience required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching dual enrollment students, and who demonstrate excellence with engaged and active learning practices.

Knowledge of best teaching practices is required. Finalists will be invited for an interview and teaching demonstration.
