The Medical Records Clerk is responsible for the initiation, circulation and maintenance of patient medical records. Performs data entry on computer, typing, filing, and telephone work associated with this function. This position also performs administrative work in the electronic medical record for billing purposes and provides cross coverage in St. Francis at Home clerical operations as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent GED

• Must have a minimum of two (2) years' experience in healthcare or related industry. Strong customer service skills. Experience in Home care billing a plus.

• Efficient in Word, Excel and EMR such as EPIC

• Must have current Driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work site.

• Ability to consistently demonstrate a commitment to the mission and Organizational Code of Ethics and adhere to the Compliance Program.
