Description:POSITION PORPOSE
- The Nurse Manager, Patient Care Services for the Surgical Services department serves as a member of the Ministry Organization’s nursing leadership team.
- Full Time Benefited Opportunity for an Operating Room (OR) Nurse Manager at Trinity Health Ann Arbor.
- The selected candidate will be responsible directly responsible for 73 FTE (92 headcount) and is responsible for 7 service lines, over 6,500 annual cases Cardiothoracic, General, Trauma/ACS, GYN, Urology, and Vascular.
- Responsible for day-to-day operations, scheduling, staffing and providing 24/7 accountability for patient care delivery, planning, and evaluation of services. Participates in and supports strategic development and outcomes management of nursing clinical areas.
- The surgical services department at THAA is comprised of 19 ORs including one hybrid OR and performs approximately 12,500 cases in Main OR.
- Candidates with operating room experience and progressive leadership responsibilities in their roles such as Charge nurse, preceptor, supervisor are encouraged to apply.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree required. Appropriate master's degree in nursing, Business or Health Administration preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years clinical nursing or leadership experience at the unit level in a related health care setting.
- Licensure: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan required.
