What you will do:
Establishes and maintains positive professional communications with the Medical Staff, Administration, nursing staff, all hospital departments and related health agencies.
Assists in performing research, obtaining information regarding all standards and requirements related to regulatory agency requests, medical staff issues, incl. but not limited to audits to assist with OPPE and the Peer Review Process.
Assists in medical staff meeting prep, scheduling, meeting reminders, agenda packets, and recording and processing of meeting minutes. Prepare and maintain monthly calendar for hospital committee meetings and events.
Responsible for assisting with data entry in to MSOW, Midas and Meditech Provider Dictionary.
Work Hours/Shift:
Full-Time, 30 hours, Monday - Friday
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
One to two (1-2) years' experience in a healthcare setting with an active current knowledge of the healthcare environment.
Excellent communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills, able to deal effectively with diverse skill sets and personalities. Maintain confidentiality.
Proficient use of computer systems and software
Ability to multi-task, prioritizes projects, and manages time efficiently and effectively. Ability to maintain and organize files and records.
